Real have not played well at all and are fortunate to be in the lead as Osasuna have been the good side with the crispier passes and if not for poor final ball then they might be ahead in this match.
Too many of the Madrid players seem to want to get this game out of the way and play the classical derby with Barcelona next weekend at the Nou Camp.
Comical attempt by Diarra to score after the ball had been laid off to him by Raul but his shot was more out of the stadium than towards the goal in the 50th minute.
Fine attempt by Robinho to make it 2 but it was just a whisker away from the far post in the 54th minute.
Good run by Vela but again his final ball is poor and level at Casillas in the 57th minute.
Best occasion of the 2nd half and its from the in-form Robinho, who went on a very good run and ended with a good shot that was well saved by Ricardo for a corner kick in the 58th minute.
Guti is on for Baptista in the 59th minute.
Hugo Viana is on for Margariaz in the 60th minute.
Terrible mistake by Ricardo the goalkeeper as his attempted shoot out went level to Raul in the penalty box but in his haste, Raul could only hit the side-netting in the 62nd minute.
Good play by Madrid as Guti starts the move with an excellent pass to Raul, who then runs with the ball for all of 40 yards and then back-heels to Sneijder and his great shot was just wide with Ricardo well beaten in the 65th minute.
Good block by Diarra preventing Font from getting his shot in at the 73rd minute.
Delporte is on for Plasil in the 73rd minute.
Diarra is off for Gago in the 74th minute.
Wesley Sneijder makes it 2-0 in the 76th tiny with a great shot that beats Ricardo in a move started by Robinho’s brilliance and persistence as he held off 3 challenges and played the ball to Guti who then found Van Nistlerooy and his pass went to Sneijder.
Gabriel Heinze is on for Marcelo in the 78th minute.
Javier Portillo is on for Hector Font in the 80th minute.
Slight chance for Portillo but Heinze cuts across to forestall a goal scoring chance in the 84th minute.

It was nothing more than a training exercise for Madrid as they strolled through this game without breaking sweat most of the time.
Osasuna are a very young side and had 7 regulars out and it showed in the final 3rd of the pitch as they never looked like scoring throughout.
Vela was promising for them but finally their final pass or shot was poor.
Real on the other hand did not have to get out of 1st gear with next week on their minds and they did what they had to do to win.
